Tribal Budget Impacts a National Focus; Take Action on Amendments to the Senate Budget Resolution

Background

The sequestration and the budget crisis facing the federal government is having a real and immediate impact on tribal nations. It is critical that Indian Country communicate and advocate to members of Congress to uphold the federal trust responsibility.

In recent days the national media - the Associated Press, New York Times editorial board, and Washington Post - have focused in on the sequestration and budget impacts to tribal nations. In addition to these articles it's important to share the information made available by NCAI:
